Perfection! Rive Gauche

We stayed at Rive Gauche for one week and it was absolutely perfect. The apartment was exactly as shown in the photographs. It was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The building is a short walk, about 10 minutes, to the Javel and Javel Andre Citroen train stations, which provided excellent train service to just about anywhere we needed to go. The Eiffel Tower is certainly within walking distance, about a 20 minute walk. A grocery market, pharmacy and restaurants are all within a block’s walk. The owner, Maxime, was exceedingly helpful. He was there right on time to greet us upon arrival and showed up exactly on time to assist us with our departure…despite it being 6:30 in the morning! In fact, everyone we met in Paris was friendly and exceedingly helpful. It was just a joy, such a lovely trip, perfect location…absolutely charming! We’ll definitely be back and we’ll be staying with Amie a Paris!

Best Experience Ever – SAINT GERMAIN

My fiance and I studied Internet for days looking for an apartment in Paris. She had visited the city twice before but had not stayed near the center of the city so we centered our search on the 6th. This studio is by far the most efficient and best organized we have seen. All appliances were new and functioned beautifully, especially the small washer/dryer combo unit (fast and efficient – could have packed less). We were a bit concerned about sleeping on a sofa bed for a week, but – as an earlier reviewer wrote – one would never have known it’s a sofa bed. Very comfortable and restful. The location was convenient to restaurants, bistros, and shopping, and only two blocks from the Odeon Metro stop. Other than our trips to and from the airport we only used a cab twice, and that was by choice rather than necessity. It was only a few minutes to the island, and Montmarte was easily accessible. Using the Metro and trains, Versailles is about an hour from the apartment and Giverny not much more. Our hosts, brothers Benjamin and Maxime, were most accommodating. We’ve stayed in truly fine hotels where the concierge was not as concerned about our happiness and well-being as Benjamin. All in all – and if you travel you know this is rare – a truly wonderful experience with absolutely no complaints.

This property was everything we wanted and more! It was exactly as shown in the pictures and we were pleasantly surprised that it was actually bigger than we anticipated. It is very clean, a good location and the owner went out of his way to make us comfortable, including dropping off fresh bakery products for our last breakfast. We were traveling with our two teenagers and would highly recommend this property.

“A wonderful introduction to Paris at St Sulpice” – SAINT GERMAIN

My wife and I spent 5 nights at St Sulpice from June 9th to June 14th. The photos and descriptions of the apartment are excellent and truly reflect it. We were met outside the apartment at the agreed time by Maxime who was a most gracious host. He ensured our every need was met and was always accessible if needed for any advice, directions etc etc. There was a lovely bottle of wine and Maxim’s Chocolates as a welcome gift which was a very nice touch. On checkout Maxime was interested in any feedback we could give him about the apartment and location and any suggestions we may have had to improve the experience. The furniture and fittings are of a high standard and the Convertible Sofa very easy to use and very comfortable to sleep on. The kitchen is fully appointed and again the attention to detail was first class. The apartment was spotless and obviously the company takes pride in their presentation. It was very hot and humid in Paris whilst we were there and we tended to have the large windows open a lot and the fan on. The only disadvantage of this was at night as the street remained busy and was sometimes a little noisy. The plus of this however was the feel and sounds of the area were always there. Maxime advised us that the company was fitting Air Conditioning to their apartments from August so any remaining issues would be resolved. The St Germaine area (Paris Arrondissement 6) is in our opinion the pick of Paris. Our son who has spent quite a bit of time there fully agrees. There is excellent shopping everywhere you turn and abundant cafes, bars and restaurants. Access to major landmarks is easy either by taking some lovely walks or using the very handily located Metro. We mainly walked and this allowed us to soak up the feel and atmosphere of the area and of Paris generally. St Germaine appeared to be a very safe area to walk around even late at night. All in all our stay at St Sulpice was one of the highlights of our recent 9 week European Holiday. We have already recommended the apartment to friends and will also recommend the company to other friends who require a larger apartment next year.

We recently traveled to Paris with our son-in-law, daughter and two grandsons…ages 4 and 6. This flat fit all of our needs and exceeded what we expected. We were greeted upon arrival by Maxime who did everything to make our visit enjoyable. The welcoming treats were wonderful and the attention to detail was exceptional. Maxime even handle the printing of tickets for an attraction and delivered them promptly…he went above and beyond what was needed to make our stay memorable. The location was in a residential area, but close to markets, wonderful bakeries, and transportation. Don’t bother with taxis, the metro works just fine. A great find! Les and Mary Heselton

Only wonderful things to say about this apartment! It was in perfect condition and beautifully decorated yet extremely functional. Stayed with my husband and 3 daughters between the ages of 12 and 16! Location was perfect as well, near train stations which we used daily and a block away from fresh bread, cheese, fruit and general grocery store. The owners are most helpful, kind and informative about the area. You can’t go wrong staying in this flat or any property owned by Maxime. Will tell all my family and friends that this is the place to stay if traveling to Paris and look forward to returning some day myself. The description of apartment in website and photos described and showed apt. well but it is truly even better in person!

We all enjoyed our stay in Paris – JARDIN

Bon Jour, Maxime…We all enjoyed our stay in Paris.  The little boys were thrilled that they could see the Eiffel Tower from the corner and that they had some area in which to run and play.  You thought of every convenience for your guests and you were the perfect host.  You will certainly be recommended to our friends who plan a trip to Paris in the future.  It was easy to find our way around the city from that location and it was also very easy to get to any market that we needed.  Thank you for allowing us to stay and for the assistance you gave us.  Johnny and Jake would love to come back again and they both said that they wanted to stay in the same flat!  Good luck to you in your future business ventures…we are sure that you will achieve success in all that you do.  If you ever to get to the states, please let us know…we would love to see you again…if not here, maybe in Paris again!  Thank you so much.  Mary and Les Heselton

Let me preface this review by saying that I’m an American tourist, and staying in this apt. My now-fiancee and I stayed for 7 nights in this flat, and NEVER ran out of things to do. When we made our reservation, we weren’t expecting to spend a whole lot of time in the apartment and essentially just needed a place to lay our heads at night. What we found instead was an apartment which met EVERY one of our needs, and more. The neighborhood: This apartment is surrounded by nightlife. Lots of really neat cafes and bars (including one next-door which can get a bit loud — but don’t be alarmed, the windows completely muffle the sounds) are within steps, and we found that these cafes, bars, etc. tended to stay open later than those in other parts of the city. Since we often didn’t finish sightseeing until 10 or 11PM on average, this was an awesome convenience. The Jardin de Luxembourg is right down the street a few blocks, and makes for a relaxing afternoon of relaxing and people-watching. Less than 100m away is the Odeon Metro station for Line 4, which is the only Metro line to connect to EVERY other metro line. You can literally get anywhere in the city within minutes on the Metro (and a lot of cool spots by foot). The owners are happy to make recommendations for nearby cafes, restaurants, bars, markets, etc. The Apartment Owners/Accomodations: Aime a Paris was a dream to rent from. Maxime (who I dealt with from the States) and Benjamin (who helped us out once we arrived) couldn’t have been more helpful. They’re very open to feedback, would be happy to provide anything we asked for (which wasn’t much), and were even kind enough to drop a few postcards in the mail for us because we ran out of time. The apartment itself is in a typical Parisian building. Enter a heavy wooden door from the sidewalk by punching in a code, open another locked door to get to the stairwell/courtyard, open another locked door to get into the apartment. Couldn’t imagine feeling more secure. The apartment is well-appointed, with amazing exception to detail. Because it’s a studio, there’s a fold-out sofabed, which I was skeptical of at first, but don’t be scared: we discovered this to be among the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. The kitchen and bath are appointed with everything you could ever need, from corkscrews, pots and pans, to a towel warmer and washer/dryer. Free internet and phone were sweet amenities, too. Don’t hesitate: book now.

Consider here first before deciding to stay anywhere else – Beaugrenelle

Hello, if you are looking to stay comfortably in Paris outside of the conventional hotels and away from the bustling tourist areas while retaining first-class service, then THIS is the place for you.  I wanted to find a very nice place for my parents to stay as they visited me on their first trip to Europe, and I can assure you that they were highly impressed.  We had both the apartments at Saint Germain in the 6th district and Beaugrenelle in the 15th.  Both were immaculate, modernly decorated, and equipped with full kitchens and all the high-tech gadgets you could hope for.  There is no need to bring lots of clothes because both come equipped washers; the St. German place apartment also has a dryer.  Both places are ideally located, with Beaugrenelle on a major RER train and metro line and  St. Germain on a major metro that goes to three major Parisian train stations.  Both are within walking distance to some major attractions.  Even better that the accommodations and amenities was the hospitality shown to us by Maxime Mellul.  He was very friendly, punctual (more than we), and highly professional.  He checked in on us to make sure that everything was going smoothly, and when we had a problem with our St. Germain apartment, he stepped in to fix the problem immediately.  My parents are even talking about coming again next year, and they already know exactly where they want to stay.  So, if you’d like stay in the chic, erstwhile bohemian, and shopping-savvy 6th district or the quieter, more local-inhabited 15th with its open-air farmers’ markets and artisan flair, then do consider staying here before you consider anywhere else.  Thank you so very much, Maxime.  A la prochaine!

Flat “JARDIN”

As a frequent international business traveler who knows quality lodging when I experience it, this Apt. met all my expectations…what an outstanding place to stay!  The apt. is large, well laid out, in pristine condition and in a great location.  The owners were there to greet us upon our arrival and gave us a thorough orientation of the place, surroundings and offered suggestions on places of interest, restaurants, transportation…any questions we threw at these guys they were prepared for!  Thanks for a wonderful visit, I can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I were exremely pleased with our stay at St Sulpice. Not only is the apratment all that it was described to be, Maxime was terrific when we needed him. The area is great for access to the Metro, has great shopping areas, lots of excellent restuarants and is walking distance to many Paris attractions. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this fabulous apartment again. Terry and Debbie

After searching online for about a week for the perfect apartment to rent for a 12-day spring visit to Paris, my partner and I decided to rent this one. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we made on our trip. Maxime, the owner, greeted us at the apartment and oriented us to everything. He had even welcomed us with “Maxime’s” chocolates and Aime-a-Paris-label wine–very clever details that we appreciated. The apartment was exactly as pictured: clean, modern, comfortable. It also felt more spacious than we had expected, even given that we had the sofa bed out for most of our stay, probably due to the high ceilings, open floor plan and large windows (which we kept open a lot). A few notes based on some of the concerns we had had while were deciding on where to stay: The sofa bed is very comfortable, so much so that I forgot I was sleeping on one. Also, the washer/dryer combo worked surprisingly well–we used it a lot and we could have packed about half of what we did had we realized how handy that was. (One trick that we learned about half way was to take out the clothes as soon as the drying cycle finishes.) The location was fantastic. The apartment is on the first floor (above the ground floor), a couple doors down from the Hotel Odeon Saint-Germain. Before he left, Maxime showed us the a booklet of to-do recommendations that he had made and gave us some others, including going to Pierre Herme, an amazing patisserie a couple of blocks away. When we went, there was a line out the door. The macaroons are beyond amazing. Throughout our stay Maxime was available by phone or e-mail, offering any assistance we needed. We mainly asked for recommendations. When we left, we had him book a car for us to return to the airport. Our departure ended up being as smooth as our arrival. I would definitely book with Aime a Paris again and would recommend it to anyone.

Two weeks ago, I, my sister and my co-worker came to Paris for a week. We had rented this apartment earlier this year for our visit and from the first minute we saw it, we knew we had made the right decision. The driver met us at the airport and took us to the apartment where Maxime personally met us and showed us around. This apartment was even more than we had hoped for – clean, spacious, great location and secured. In fact, we enjoyed the apartment so much that we had to push ourselves out the door every morning to sightsee. We were so comfortable that we could easily have stayed in the apartment the entire trip! There were cute shops in the area and a great neighborhood restaurant that we went to twice. We were also close to the metro line. I have since recommended this apartment to two other co-workers who have trips to Paris planned this summer. At the end of our visit, Maxime was there to make sure that our driver was on time to get us to the airport. All in all, our experience could not have been better and I will definitely keep this apartment in mind if I am lucky enough to return to Paris.

Mrs Stamper – Saint Sulpice

My husband and I just returned from Paris where we stayed in this beautiful apartment for 6 nights. The apartment is just as beautiful in person as it appears in the photos. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some, including new appliances, a clothes washer and dryer, oven, large refrigerator and even an express machine! The apartment is just immaculate, with beautiful furnishings and a modern bathroom. I first worried that we would not find the sofa bed to be comfortable, but I was incorrect. It was incredibly comfortable, and the down comforter kept us very warm at night. Additionally, the neighborhood where the apartment is located (St. Germaine) was just ideal. It was within walking distance to the Seine and Notre Dame, but yet it was away from the touristy area, and we felt as though we were a part of the Parisian lifestyle. We were surrounded by quaint markets, bakeries and shops. it was the perfect location. Plus, our hosts, Maxim and Benjamin, were wonderful to work with. They responded to questions very quickly, were very gracious, and Benjamin was there waiting for us when we arrived, and even arrived 10 minutes early when we were departing, with our printed boarding passes. They offered the A+++ service. We wouldn’t not have wanted to stay anywhere else, and this apartment and the warm service we received from maxim and Benjamin made our stay in Paris even more special. When we return, we will make sure to stay here again.
Thank you Benjamin and Maxim!!

Nina – Beaugrenelle

My boyfriend and I went for a romantic week-end in Paris and booked in for a deluxe-apartment in Beaugrenelle with Aime à Paris, and our stay ended up being everything we could have asked for, and more! The manager of Aime à Paris – Maxime – gave us a lot of personlized advice regarding eating out, shopping, sight-seeing etc., and also booked for us surprisingly punctual transfer services. The apartment we stayed in was fresh, clean and modern. And the spacious kitchen was like a dream! In comparison to other apartment hotels, Aime à Paris have put a lot of attention to the kitchenware. There was everything we’d need to host a smaller dinner party if we would have wanted to. Moreover, the bed rooms had really comfortable beds with soft linens, and the bath rooms heated floor. The area of Beaugrenelle was also fabulous. Just across the street there was a boulangerie, and a short walk away, we had a market street full of everything from cheeses to fish, meats and wine. The evenings were calm and we trust it was a really safe area to stay. I would recommend Beaugrenelle and Aime à Paris’ deluxe apartments to the fastidious traveller who’s looking for a genuine stay in the signs of a real Parisian. We will definitely come and visit again!

Mrs Pike – Jardin

This was a great place to stay. We were 5 minute walk to the Jevel Metro Station and a 20 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. The apt was new, clean, and so spacious. Great kitchen- fully stocked. The living room was huge and had 2 pull out sofa beds that my kids loved. As an American I am picky about bathrooms- and these were great. 2 full baths and both had a separate room for the toilet, so they could be used while someone showered. The bathrooms are small by US standards, but huge compaired to other Paris apartments.

The location was convenient to everything. Good local stores and restaurants just a few minutes walk away. We felt very safe walking at night with children and we were amazed how quiet it was.

The owner met us at our arrival, and was so friendly and helpful! The owner has thought of everything, but if you need anything he is happy to assist. A perfect Paris apartment.

We will be back!

Cheryl – Beaugrenelle

We stayed in the Beaugrenelle flat March 25 – 28, 2010.

This is a relatively new complex, apparently renovated just six months ago. Our agent, Maxime Mellul was very professional and very accommodating. He arranged for our shuttle service to and from the airport, as well we had our metro/museum passes delivered to his office and he brought these to us when we arrived. He also prepared a tour book for us outlining the highlights and the “must sees” in Paris. The apartment is absolutely stunning in a very quiet neighbourhood. We appreciated the serenity of the surroundings and being away from the thick of tourism. The unit we had was a two bedroom, both with queen sized beds. There was a pullout sofa in the living room which was exceptionally comfortable. The appliances are very modern and it was great to be able to cook for ourselves. The markets are all close by, and the bakery is conveniently across the street. The metro station (Javel) is about a 5 minute walk and is one stop away from the Eiffel Tower, and just minutes from anywhere else you might want to go. We were extremely impressed with both the apartment and the attention to detail that Maxime provided. Please do not hesitate to contact Maxime, we are confident he would be able to help you with your upcoming travel plans to Paris.

Cheers,
