Paris I Love you! RIVE GAUCHE

Review Submitted May 19, 2012

We loved our visit to Paris and especially our Aime a Paris Rive-Gauche apartment. It was more than we expected, modern amenities, comfy beds, lots of space. Close to shops, boulangeries, lots take-out food shops, excellent restaurants – Pizza Nella, Bambou Asian (to go), Il Teattro, Cafe Linnois on and on. Bus 42 on St-Charles takes you directly to Place de la Concorde and la Madeleine. You can transfer from bus 42 to Scenic Bus 69 at Rapp/LaBourdonnais which will bring to the Louvres and all the way to le Pere La Chaise Cemetery. And most of all we appreciated the services of Maxime and Benjamin (Airport transfers, and restaurant reservations. Merci encore

My family of 5 (3 adults, 2 children) spent 5 nights at this apartment on our first trip to Paris. We could not have made a better choice of accommodations. It is spacious, very clean, convenient to not only supermarkets, boulangeries and restaurants, but to the Metro as well. It is also on a very quiet street, so it is a restfull place to relax after a long day of sight seeing. Being an avid cook, I was pleasantly surprised at how well stocked the kitchen was. The blackout shades are fantastic! Maxime is the perfect host-he is available if you need him, but he stays out of the way to allow you to enjoy your privacy. Also, his driver is fabulous. He is very informative, and made trips to/from airport a stress free experience. I would not hesitate to rent from Aime A Paris on my next trip to Paris. Merci Maxime!

Exceptional Lodging and Customer Service! RIVE GAUCHE

Date of Stay February 16, 2012

The Rive Gauche apartment was stylishly furnished, equipped with all of the modern amenities, and impeccably clean. The listing description and photos accurately portrayed the accommodation, and we were very pleased upon arrival at the quality of the apartment. The elevator access was a nice bonus, and the neighborhood location was ideal for a family holiday. We were 4 adults and 1 toddler, and the apartment was spacious and accommodated all of our needs. Maxime and his brother ensured that we had a cot and high chair for our little one, and upon our night time check in (later than planned and was graciously assisted), took time to point out highlights of the neighborhood in which we stayed. From the moment we inquired about the apartment availability to our return home, we received exceptional customer service. I would definitely stay in this apartment or another managed by Aime Paris on a future stay in the beautiful city, and I have and will continue to recommend this location to friends and family. Thank you!

Date of Stay March 7, 2012

My husband and I just return from our 5 days trip to Paris. We decided to rent an apartment for the first time. We were in Paris several times in the past, but we always stay in hotels in 6th District. From the first time we met with Maxime on Wednesday early morning to last visit before departure, he provided excellent, professional and friendly service! Apartment was very clean, and bottle of wine waited for us in small dining area next to the kitchen. Description and photos on the website describe this place perfectly. This is THE BEST location in Paris. Make sure to visit Gerard Mulot pastry shop just around the corner (from apartment door turn left, then right at first street and shop will be on the left side). When we will plan our next visit to Paris, this apartment will be our Parisian home!!! Teresa & Michael P.S. Thank you Maxime for your hospitality.

Stayed at Maxime’s flat in mid-January with my wife and younger daughter. As described and seen in the pictures – even better!. Lots of space, clean, nice layout and modern. Very safe area but with plenty of restaurants, bakeries, shops and stores nearby. The market 2 blocks away on rue St. Charles was great and allowed us to have a couple of in house meals. Several Metro stops no more than a short walk away to take you anywahere in Paris. You really feel like you are a local Parisien and not trapped near all the touristy stuff. Maxime is very professional, available and prompt but leaves you alone to enjoy your stay. If you need a driver ask for Clement for airport pickups or drives outside Paris – he is excellent! Overall a great expereince!

Very nice unit looked just like photos. Washer dryer combo not able to work even with directions,we should have asked how to use dryer part. Other wise able to do laundry and used a drying rack instead. Would like to have had an extra change of towels. Salt and pepper, had to purchase both. Needed a reading light in living room. Soap dishes in tub and shower area needed. A cutting board, only had one for bread, not easy to cut other items on slotted cutting board. Knives needed to be sharpened, a better bottle opener. All in all very minor items, very nice stay otherwise. Have already recommended to another friend. Got the feel of a real Parisian neighborhood. Very clean.

This is the first time we are staying in a vacation rental in Paris. Maxime has been a wonderful host. Always prompt to our queries. We truly enjoyed the location of the apartment. Not too far away from the main attractions but yet not too near to be too touristic. We were right smack in the middle of local residential district – very quiet and yet safe. Many restaurants nearby. Enjoyed the twice weekly fresh market on a street about 100 metres from the apartment. Maxime and the location of this place truly made our stay memorable. I would stay here again if I were to return to Paris.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful apartment for 6 nights during our honeymoon in France. Benjamin, was our main point of contact and he did everything to make our stay more enjoyable from sending a car to pick us up from the airport, to suggesting a restaurant upon our arrival, making dinner reservations and having a taxi waiting for us upon our departure. When we arrived, there was a delicious bottle of wine waiting for us and a scrumptious box of chocolates. The apartment is located in what became our favorite part of the city. We would walk to every destination and enjoyed people watching at night. The apartment itself is very well appointed. The sofa bed was the most comfortable of our 21 days in France (including some 5 star hotels). It was very convenient and had more than all the amenities and little touches that made us feel right at home. We were very sad to leave and are even planning our next trip. Look no further, this is the perfect location for 2 people.

My husband and I enjoyed two fabulous weeks in this well designed & comfortable studio. The flat has everything one would need to enjoy a self catering holiday. The washer/dryer was particularly useful allowing us to pack half of what we normally would. The location is in the most desirable neighborhood of Paris, noted for it’s close proximity to all the central sites, shopping and restaurants. Right around the corner you’ll find Gerard Mulot’s, where we picked up croissants every morning, Pierre Herme’s for macarons and La Comptoir for dinner. Benjamin and Maxime were very professional and a pleasure to do business with. Do use their driver for airport pick up and drop off if you can, we were very happy we chose this extra service. We highly recommend this apartment and hope to return soon. Merci Benjamin & Maxime!

We can honestly say this apartment excelled in our expectations. In fact it made our holiday! We have been travelling around Europe for 3 months and this place is top on our list. The photos don’t do it justice – believe me it is better. We loved the area, a lot of families, great little shops, fantastic parks, quiet and felt safe, also surprise surprise you just walk 10 steps down the road and you can see the Eiffle Tower (15 mins walk). In fact before we left I went for a little walk down the street and had a tear in my eye cause we were leaving such a great place. Underground only 10 mins walk, plenty of delicious food shops and restraunts 10 mins walk. The owner was a gem – he booked our taxi’s, arranged dinners, I just can’t speak highly enough of him. Would I recommend this apartment to my family and friends?? Your joking – I would recommend this place to the world! But hope it doesn’t become too popular in case we can’t get another booking!!

Date of Stay September 21, 2011
We stayed in this apartment in September, 2011, and were extremely happy with the apartment. It was everything as advertised except even better. The pictures don’t do it justice as it’s so much better. It’s clean, neat, up-to-date on furnishings and facilities. Maxime, one of the owners, was so helpful in getting us set up into the apartment on arrival, providing information on nearby metro stops, shopping, and restaurants, arranging pickup to and from the airport, and being there at the time of our departure to make sure that everything went well. The apartment is a little out of the way of the touristy spots which makes it so much more relaxing and still easy to get around to the tourist spots and the nearby shops are very pleasant and several good places to eat. We have already recommended this apartment or any of the apartments owed by Maxime and his brother to all of our friends if going to Paris and will continue recommending it to anyone who asks.

Fantastic Family Vacation! RIVE GAUCHE

Date of Stay October 10, 2011
I want to thank Maxime for making this a vacation of a lifetime. This apartment was exactly as described, the photos accuratey and completely described the apartment, it was beautifully decorated and the furniture is of the best quality, and exceptionally clean and everything maintained to the highest level. My son and daughterin-law had their dream vacation come true. The location is just perfect, one metro stop from the Eiffel Tower, and how precious to walk out of the apartment and walk to the corner and look up and see the most fantastic sight in the world. What a pleasure to stay in apartment that was like home, with everything that one could possibly imagine. My family and I highly recommend that anyone wishing to stay in a luxury apartment and have the pleasure of enjoying Paris, in this beautiful location, select this apartment for your vacation. Maxime was available to provide any information or assistance. I highly recommend taking his advice and let him make arrangements to have a driver meet you at the airport, this provided us with a pleasant and worry free arrival at the apartment. Due to an unforseen event, we had to extend our stay by two nights, Maxime accommodated us without any hesitation for one night, and assisted us in making reservations for the other night at a hotel near the airport, enabling us to get through this situatioin with pleasure. As this was my fourth trip to Paris but my first experience of feeling like I was meeting a friend.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful apartment which was very spacious, beautifully furnished and maintained. It is actually in the 15th, but adjacent to the 7th and within and easy walk to the Metro which will take you anywhere in the city. A week earlier we had stayed in another apartment that was nicely restored but noisy and very small–Maxime’s apartment was so peaceful. He and his brother took care of all our needs meeting us, arranging a taxi to the airport and making sure everyting in the apartment was in perfect working condition down to all the light bulbs. A block away you can look down the street and see the Eifel Tower. Twice a week there is a lovely street market with the best cheese, fresh fish–everything you need for a lovely home cooked dinner. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Paris.

The apartment is only a few blocks from the river and the train which only is one stop to the Eiffel Tower. You can see the Eiffel tower on the corner from the apartment and it is a lovely walk of about a mile along the river bank. There is a fantastic large park within a few blocks that we did not find until the last day. Look for the hot air balloon and you will find it. The apartment is even better than the pictures if that is possible. We would highly recommend this rental.

We highly recommend this apartment. It is clean, well equipped, safe, quiet, great location, close to the metro, wonderful neighborhood for walking, close to many restaurants, markets, etc. It even has a lovely outdoor seating spot. We stayed in September of 2011. There were four of us, two couples. The flat was the perfect size for two couples and the layout is great. Huge living area on the main floor with fully equipped kitchen. Both bedrooms are downstairs and decent sized. The bathrooms are spotless and very modern. One is on the main floor, one on the lower floor. We stayed for five nights and it was really just perfect. For those of you who have not used HomeAway before, this would be a great first choice. Imagine that you can have a very spacious apartment, fully equipped for what you would pay for most small hotel rooms in Paris. And the contact for the apartment, Maxime, is extremely professional and responsive. If he says something is going to happen, you can count on it. We are going back to Paris next spring and hope to book the same place. It was that good. Now just one word of caution. This is not a tourist neighborhood. It is a few blocks from the tourist neighborhoods. For us, that is perfect. It gives you the experience of living in Paris.

Everything about this 2 bedroom apartment is extremely accurate. We could not have asked for a better place to stay while in Paris. Everything we could have wanted was accessable from the front door. The metro was only a couple of blocks away so you could get anywhere you needed to. There were grocery markets, bakeries, bistros, and shopping only a couple of blocks away. The street market on Tuesday was fabulous, this is where to go shopping if you are looking for sales in Paris!!! Maxime and his crew were absolutely amazing and we could not thank him enough, they made getting in and out of Paris a piece of cake, as well as being extremely accommodating and helpful!!! Great place to stay. Property was very clean and well kept. Value for money. Not far from Eiffel tower if willing to walk. Ideal for small families with children and on a budget. All the necessities hotels provide, clean towels, bath essentials, toilet paper (no room service as it is a private apartment). Proximity to Carrefour and many restaurants and cafes. Owner Maxime was extremely helpful with trustworthy drivers and chamber maid. They returned my iPod which was lost in the apartment and the driver returned my bag with money and travel documents which I left in the car. Definitely will stay there again. Stephanie

The apartment out did any pictures that were posted. We stayed here as a family of 4. There was plenty of room. The amenities were great. Starting with safety. There were 3 levels of security not that they were needed since the neighbourhood was good. Transit. One transit line is just a few minutes walk with a second different transit line relatively near by. Plenty of small shops abound along the walk to the last one. Service. The owner went out of his way at every point in time to make our stay a good one. I would definitely recommend to anyone that they stay here. Fernando.

This apartment made our trip to Paris a great experience: its location (near the metro and RER as well as central to many bistros and bakeries), its condition (well kept and modern), its rooms (2 huge bedrooms plus 2.5 baths) and the view in the back onto a garden is great. Most of all, the tremendous service of Maxine Mellul made our trip a lot easier, ranging from the mundane to more personal help with special circumstances (we were stuck in Paris during the Irene hurricane hitting the US northeast coast, and Maxine’s hlep was greatly appreciated). We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to friends.

Perfect location, perfect apartment! JARDIN

My husband and I stayed here with my brother after we had spent 10 days in the 5th arrondissement directly across from Notre Dame. This apartment is actually in the 15th arrondissement and at first we had some hesitation about the location, but it could not have been better. Instead of being surrounded by fellow tourists, we were in a pleasant residential area surrounded by French people going about their daily lives. We were a block and a half from a street full of resaurants, a pharmacy, grocer, pastry shops and a weekly market. We were not one of thousands of tourists. There was a subway and train stop a coulple of blocks away, so we could easily get around Paris. The apartment is new, nicely decorated and very clean. Maxime was helpful and very easy to deal with. He is always available and eager to make your stay a pleasant one. We had two floors with the bedrooms on the basement floor, which worked well for us in early September because the bedrooms were cool. The only people our apartment would not have been appropriate for would be people who have trouble navigating spiral stairs. The upper apartments, with an elevator would be better for them. We would definitely recommend the apartment to friends and family and anyone who wants to experience Paris as locals live it. You are stll plenty close to the major sights and can see the Eiffel Tower looming above the buildings. Carol.

My fiancee and I enjoyed this apartment for our honeymoon in July 2011. This studio apartment is perfectly situated within the 6th arrondissement. You are able to walk to many tourist destinations or very easily grab the metro. The Luxenbourg Gardens, Shakespeare & Company Bookstore, and the Notre Dame Cathedral are just a few of the many sites available within walking distance. There are many nice restaurants in the neighbourhood, which we would generally follow with a walk around the streets, checking out new places to eat and shop for the next day. Maxime is very freindly and helpful, even taking the time to change a dead lightbulb as soon as he was aware of it. The listing is described accurately. It’s essentially one room plus the bathroom, but that’s all you need to sleep and cook the occational meal. We would usually make our breakfasts at home, go out all day, come back for a nap around 6pm and then go our for a late dinner. We cooked a few dinners at home to help us save on costs, too. Considering the location of this apartment within the arrondissement, this is a great deal. I would certainly recommend staying here to a single person or couple. Michael.

“40m2 Private Garden, Close French Market & Eiffel Tower, Metro” JARDIN

We can’t say enough about our experience in Paris staying at the Jardin apartment of Aime a Paris. Firstly, the description and the pictures on VRBO are absolutely true to life. Too often pictures are wide angled, distorting the reality of the size of apartments or houses…not so here. The apartment was huge and very well-apppointed. The linens are first rate and the kitchen supplies, dishes and cutlery are the best. It was unusual and wonderful to have a private garden courtyard to retreat to for a glass of wine after a busy day of touring. Shopping within short blocks provided all we needed during our stay and restaurants nearby were excellent. The Tuesday and Friday markets were fun, even on the rainy day we experienced. Javel Station 4 blocks away provided access to anywhere one might want to go in Paris. Benjamin and Maxime are the best of hosts, answering our every inquiry, providing recommendations, offering to make reservations for meals and attractions and even printing off confirmations of our onward travel arrangements. They acted like the best concierges in the finest hotels. We’d also highly recommend their car service to and from rail stations or airports. Their regular driver Clement was a joy and was a most enthusiastic travel guide during our trips to and from the apartment. Our stay here was the best we have had in 12 years of using VRBO! John.

“The Perfect Place for a Paris Vacation.” JARDIN

5*****/5

I cannot say enough how wonderful this property is. We arrived and were greeted at the airport by the driver (totally worth the money) who waited patiently for me to process a lost luggage issue. He was so kind and friendly! We arrived and Benjamin met us outside and helped us in with our luggage. We were given a thorough tour of the apartment (it was even better than we had imagined – more spacious than the pictures depict) and instructions on the appliances/tv/etc. Benjamin was ultra professional (even in the midst of a jet lag meltdown by one in our group). We were given directions to the train/metro station (very close) and the nearest restaurants. Throughout our stay Benjamin was available and friendly each time we had a question about ANYTHING…. It is evident that the owners take pride in their service and property. The only mistake we made was not booking the transportation through Benjamin on the last day – we got a cab (due to a guest already booking) and had a very rude driver who would not even help with the bags. If you miss renting this property you will miss one of the best values for your money in Paris. I will definitely stay again as soon as possible! We had a marvelous time! SAINT SULPICE

5*****/5

My husband and I enjoyed our time in Paris immensely. It was everything we dreamt and hoped it would be, and it was the perfect way to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The city was beautiful, and the St. Sulpice apartment was perfectly located so as to make our daily adventures pleasant and easy to get to. The apartment was lacking nothing, and lived up to all the wonderful reviews that we’d read on your website prior to booking.

Thank you for your help in making our visit to Paris so lovely.

Merci,
Andra

It was the perfect place for us!Very spacious, clean, lovely garden for the kids to play in,two very nice bedrooms, washing machine, close to the metro that will take you everywhere you need etc. The apartment was better than expedted! And service was great.Maxime was very helpful. We also got transportation back to the airport, it was a great driver who helped us to find the right place for check-in and helped with our luggage. If we ever go back to paris again we would stay here,or try one of the other apartments Maxime have.

Exceptional apartment in a wonderful location ! BEAUGRENELLE

We enjoyed our stay in our Beaugrenelle apartment. The apartment had all the modern conveniences and was spotless and very comfortable . The location was wonderful – a block away from a main street with everything you could possible need and the added bonus of a street market twice a week. Two metro lines a short walk away. Maxime was the perfect host – met us at the apartment, explained everything and suggested some wonderful restaurants. He was extremely helpful in arranging airport transportaion and with whatever we needed. Great stay – can’t wait to return.

Great Apartment ! JARDIN

5*****/5

The apartment was just fantastic; it was everything that we expected and more. We arrived on a Friday and were immediately able to go to the local market which is open on Tuesdays and Fridays and has everything from fresh fruit, vegetables, fish, meat, cheese to clothes! The location was just great as we were able to walk from our apartment to the Eiffel Tower daily (about 15-20 min) and catch the hop on-hop off bus during our travels. We were also only 5 min from the metro line and the line to Versailles. The kitchen was fantastic and had a washer/dryer and dishwasher. We found everything to be in order for us. I wish the weather was a bit nicer during our stay so we could have enjoyed the garden a bit more, but unfortunately, it didn’t cooperate! The one night it was nice, we enjoyed immensely. I highly recommend this place. We stayed with our 2 year old daughter and my in-laws and it was plenty of room for us.

My husband and I spent 2 wonderful weeks in Paris, staying at the apartment. The location is excellent, close to all actions, shops, museum and monuments. We walked to most sites and occasionally took the Metro which is only a couple of minutes away. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The wine and chocolate provided was such a beautiful touch. We loved them. Benjamin was always pleasant, friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to help us when we had to deal with some legal paperwork from home. We really appreciated his service and support during our time of need. Thank you, Benjamin. We highly recommend Aime a Paris and we will definitely return again.

“Beautiful Paris Apartment”! BEAUGRENELLE

5*****/5

This apartment is fantastic! A quiet neighborhood, but close to the metro that will take you everywhere you need. Then there is the view of the Eiffel tower right around the corner of the apartment! Right from the beginning we knew this was going to be great. Maxime was very helpful with all of our questions before we got there and while we were there. We were picked up at the trian station and dropped off at the airport – very worth the extra cost! Benjamin met us at the apartment and gave us helpful tips for the apartment and for Paris and kept in contact with us by e-mail during the entire stay. There are shops for everything you need conviently located by the apartment (yummy bakery!). We stayed here with my sister and brother-in-law and had plenty of room. We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone. Thank you Maxime and Benjamin for making our first Paris visit a memorable one.

Brilliant trip ! SAINT SULPICE

5*****/5

My husband and I rented the apartment for a week and had an amazing time. The location is perfect, walking distance to any attraction, but close to metro if needed. The metro was about 2 minute walk. Felt very safe at night walking around. Awesome restaurants close by, though Maxime and Ben were always available for recs, and they helped us set up a dinner reservation at a fun restaurant one night. The packet of close by bars, restaurants, cafes was very helpful and we carried this around with us. It was quite at night, the fan in the room was perfect. Everything that we needed for the dishwasher and washing machine was present. It was great to have the bath products as well as this a pain to travel with. The bed was comfortable and very easy to use. One of the best patisseries in paris is 3 minutes from the flat and we went almost every day. Local shops have great variety from clothes, jewelry, candles, housewares to pottery. The energy in this area is what makes paris so fun to visit. I could not have had a better time and we will definately stay there when we go back! Blair and Mike

Great apartment, excellent location!!!! JARDIN

5*****/5

This was a great experience. The online booking was easy. They made arrangements to pick my family up at the train station and then take us to the airport at the end of our stay. (this service was worth the additional charge). Maxime met us at the apartment and explained everything. He gave us his cell phone in case there were any problems. The building was secure. The apartment was beautiful (just like the photo’s). Very clean, well maintained, really nice bath and kitchen facilities. The neighborhood was great with a market and ATM close by. The metro and train stops were a 5 to 10 minute walk and the Eiffel Tower was about a 25 minute walk. This was my first experience renting an apartment in Paris. For my family of 5 it was far superior to hotel rooms. I would highly recommend this apartment and these owners. Thanks for a great trip!!!!!

We had a wonderful week long stay here in May. Everything about our stay was wonderful, beginning with the ride from the airport, assistance with our bags, and the nice bottle of wine and pastries waiting for us on arrival. The apartment was beautifully decorated and provisioned with all the comforts of home (and then some). The apartment was extremely quiet and yet ideally located within walking distance of the Metro, shops and restaurants. The neighborhood itself was clean and safe, even after dark. We had a number of excellent meals at restaurants within a several block radius of the apartment. Maxime & Benjamin were extremely responsive and attentative to all of our questions and needs. They provided extensive information about Paris and the immediate area, including a suggested itinerary for our stay. All of their suggestions for restaurants were also great. This rental not only met our expectations–it far exceeded them. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone planning a visit to Paris and will definitely stay here in the future.

We enjoyed our week in Paris at this modern and clean apartment. Near public transportation, it was easy to get to all of the sights around Paris. This is a quiet neighborhood apartment near the RER, Metro and bus stops. Wonderful bakeries in the area as well as some good restaurants. Two grocery stores nearby if you prefer to fix your own. We took good advantageous of the on-site washer-dryer. Our stay was most enjoyable starting with the excellent transfer service offered by Maxime. The driver was most courteous and helpful. We truly felt welcomed by Maxime and his staff. The listing is accurate except that the apartment is just inside of Arrondissement 15, instead of 7.

My family was absolutely in love with this apartment. The photos are lovely but the apartment is even nicer than it looks in the pictures. The apartment was spotless and the beds were extremely comfortable. The neighborhood is wonderful and incredibly safe. Every night we went to the corner and watched the Eiffel Toewr sparkle. The traditional French marketplace on Fridays and Tuesdays is not to be missed. It was so convenient to restaurants, bakeries, stores and the metro and RER. Maxime is incredibly nice and so helpful. This property was fabulous. We have already highly recommended it to many of our friends and family. Our children loved the WIFI and the TV had French and English channels that they enjoyed. My husband and I enjoyed the balcony, we felt as if we were honorary Parisians for six days.

The location is close to the Metro and about a twenty minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. It is located in a Parisian neighborhood, with food stores and boulangeries right around the corner. Maxime was communicative and met us at the apartment when we arrived in Paris to give us the keys and a tour of the apartment. We all felt very comfortable in our Paris flat and I appreciated the welcoming chocolates and wine.

Dear Maxime, Over the last decade, we have leased many apartments all over north America and Europe. The Jardin apartment with Aime a Paris stands out as one of the best apartments we have had the pleasure of renting. It was immaculately clean, well-appointed and extremely spacious. Our week long vacation was both relaxing and comfortable. The location was ideal for exploring the city: close to the metro, lots of neighborhood grocers, open market twice a week, many bistros and bakeries to choose from. The pick-up to and from the airport was an added bonus. The whole experience made for a great vacation. Given another opportunity, we will definitely return to Paris and rent from Aime a Paris. We have already recommended the apartment to our family and friends. Our special thanks to you, Maxime, for dutifully attending to our needs during our brief stay. Most gratefully yours, MM

We were delighted with our decision to book an apartment with Aime à Paris! The location is that of a neighborhood away from the tourist attractions, which allows one to completely relax after a long day of sight seeing. The property description and pictures were absolutely accurate, only the apartment is even better in person. It is modern, kept in pristine condition, and looks and feels brand new. It is decorated very tastefully with artwork, quality furniture, quality linens, and a nicely supplied kitchen The amenities provided were very thoughtful–coffee, trash bags, laundry soap, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and soaps. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the two bedrooms arranged so there is privacy. The two bathrooms are lovely, and the soaps and shampoos provided were top notch. The living room furniture is very cosy, the kitchen well stocked to cook and store all the fun French goodies available in the area, and the dining table lovely for enjoying all the goodies we cooked! The balcony is spacious for 4 people and is a great place to watch the neighborhood go by and chedk on the weather. The floor to ceiling windows enabled views of the neighborhood and the bedroom floor to ceiling windows provided views of a lovely quiet courtyard. The market on Tuesdays and Fridays two streets away is just amazing, and we ate more meals in the apartment that out due to the amazing French products we wanted to cook with! Heavenly produce, seafood, meats, cheeses, baquette, croissant, pates, and wines! Oh la la! Maxime is the perfect host, and visitied often and offered his services to get us where we needed to be, or recommend places to eat or shop. He and his brother offer very personalized service, and are very customer focused and professional. Maxime emailed us frequently while we were planning our trip and offered us his services from the time his driver picked us up at the airport upon our arrival until his driver dropped us at the train station. He personally met us at the property, and showed us through the apartment when we arrived. Maxime was always a phone call away. If there is a problem, you can be assured that Maxine will solve it quickly. We enjoyed the wireless internet and the free phone calls locally and to the USA. We were a party of 4–two couples–and have decided that all future trips to Paris will be spent at Aime à Paris! Can’t wait to go back! Thank-you, Maxime, for a memorable visit to your lovely city!

I’ve stayed in apartments before for on my trips to Paris and this one is at the top of the list! Just as previous reviewers have said, the apartment is in a great location, was clean and the bed was comfortable and easy to pull out and put back. Loved having a working kitchen for coffee, breakfast and small meals. The pictures are accurate. Nice to have internet and phone for US calls. There is street noise but that is Paris! With the windows closed, I barely heard the noise. Benjamin was such a great host and was very responsive in making sure everything was just right. Benjamin also set up the airport pick up and drop off, which involved a separate stop to pick up my travel mates. The driver was very nice and also accomodating. I will be staying there again! Thank you Benjamin!

Apartment much nicer than the pictures reflect. Description was accurate, apartment was very clean and well maintained. Very close to subway and groceries/eateries. The owner was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Very quiet and safe community. Hopefully google maps has updated their picture of the outside. When I was looking, it showed as a garage so I was very nervous until I actually arrived. I was pleasantly surprised. Will stay again next year if available.

Stop looking for a place to stay! You have found it! I looked for an apartment to stay in for over two months and I know it can drive you crazy. - Very close to Odeon and Saint Michel – Notre Dame Metro ( RER train to airport) – Washer/dryer, you really don’t have to pack much - The sleeper sofa was extremely comfortable. - The location was perfect. You can pretty much walk to everywhere. – Everything you need is close, grocery market, dry cleaners, bakery etc. This apartment felt like home. Everything is brand new and clean. Maxime was waiting for us as we walked up the street with our luggage and Benjamin was at the apartment when we had to leave. The apartment was great, we can’t wait to return to Paris and stay there again. The apartment looks better than the pictures on their web site.

Everything in this apartment is 4 stars, don’t worry about the sofa bed, it’s a thick mattress that you would never find in the states. The apartment was just as pictured, clean, modern and functional. Everything in the apartment was new, appliances worked perfectly, bed was comfy! The area of the apartment was perfect, right in the center of everything, close to the metro, Starbucks and a great bar 2 doors down (Fubar)!! The only thing I would change is the heat, it was a little cold in the apartment and it was on high the entire time. Other than that, everything was perfect! Would definately reccommend!

From 16 to 26 December 2010.

We recently returned from Paris. The Beaugrenelle apartment is beautiful, comfortable, well-equipped and well-situated.

We stayed for 10 days with our two daughters who are aged 9 and 13 years old. The girls don’t like to share a bed so one slept in the bedroom and the other on the hide-a-bed in the living room. They were both happy with the arrangement.

We cooked our meals at the apartment on Christmas day. It was well-stocked with what we needed to prepare our feasts.

Maxime is excellent. He arranged a car from the airport for us, met us at the apartment and even made restaurant reservations for us. Be sure to go to the Italian restaurant he recommended to us!

We used the Metro at Javel station for our entire stay. It is really easy to get around from this neighbourhood. There are restaurants, a street market, and many food shops close by. We highly recommend this property. Thanks Maxime!

I stayed in the St. Sulpice apartment from November 2nd to November 11th, 2010. First off, the pictures here are exactly what you get… A chic, stylish place, convenient, comfortable, cozy, clean and well-equipped. An easy climb up one flight of steps to the first floor. The building is very secure and in a safe, quiet location. The heat works great and the apartment has lots of light. Having the WI-FI and the phone (with unlimited free calls to the US) was fantastic. I was skeptical about the sofa bed…. Be assured that it is extremely comfortable, large (king-size) and easy to open… Slept great at night… The kitchen is very sleek, functional and well-equipped. The espresso maker is wonderful, as is the Meile washer/dryer and dishwasher… I didnt cook, but if you do, you have all the equipment/accessories that you would ever want… The bathroom is great, although it helps to keep the door ajar when taking a shower to let the steam escape… The Kenji bath products were are very nice touch. The location is central and only a couple of very short blocks from Blvd. Saint Germain… The Odeon Metro station is about a 1.5 minute walk.. Great shopping, dining, bars, cafes everywhere. Lastly, Benjamin was extremely gracious and helpful. He met me at the door, showed me everything that I needed to know about the apartment. Both he and Maxime were available 24/7 via phone. I would definitely recommend friends, family and collegues to rent this wonderful apartment!

I was very excited when I found this apartment on line and it was available. My mom and two nephews joined me on this trip and we were all very pleased when we arrived at the apartment. It was in excellent condition, clean and everything we needed was there. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends who may be looking for an apartment in Paris. Thanks Maxime for making our stay in Paris very comfortable!

We stayed at this lovely studio for a week at the end of September. It was beautiful and the location is very central to all of your needs in Paris. Max and Benjamin are so wonderful to deal with very professional and very helpful. They provided a pack-n-play for our young daughter, directions to attractions, and dinning recommendations. The sofa bed as other guest have stated is very comfortable and easy to use. We prepared several meals in the kitchen which is well supplied with pots/pans/dishes etc..I would highly recommend this property to friends/family. It is also in close distance to the Metro. Enjoy your stay Paris is awesome.

We stayed at this wonderful apartment from Sept. 5 – 10, and have to say that it was exactly as pictured and described, had all the amenities and more. Maxime greeted us upon our early arrival at 7:00 am. We were fortunate that the apartment was not occupied the night before, and we were able to move right in. Maxime was very helpful with any questions we had, and is well informed about anything you can imagine doing in Paris. I had not brought the proper electrical converter, so Maxime provided one the next day. The location is central to everything you can imagine… shops, patisseries, grocery, boutiques, restaurants, bars, nightlife.. We were never at a loss for places to visit in the neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again when in Paris.

We stayed at Rive Gauche for one week and it was absolutely perfect. The apartment was exactly as shown in the photographs. It was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The building is a short walk, about 10 minutes, to the Javel and Javel Andre Citroen train stations, which provided excellent train service to just about anywhere we needed to go. The Eiffel Tower is certainly within walking distance, about a 20 minute walk. A grocery market, pharmacy and restaurants are all within a block’s walk. The owner, Maxime, was exceedingly helpful. He was there right on time to greet us upon arrival and showed up exactly on time to assist us with our departure…despite it being 6:30 in the morning! In fact, everyone we met in Paris was friendly and exceedingly helpful. It was just a joy, such a lovely trip, perfect location…absolutely charming! We’ll definitely be back and we’ll be staying with Amie a Paris!

My fiance and I studied Internet for days looking for an apartment in Paris. She had visited the city twice before but had not stayed near the center of the city so we centered our search on the 6th. This studio is by far the most efficient and best organized we have seen. All appliances were new and functioned beautifully, especially the small washer/dryer combo unit (fast and efficient – could have packed less). We were a bit concerned about sleeping on a sofa bed for a week, but – as an earlier reviewer wrote – one would never have known it’s a sofa bed. Very comfortable and restful. The location was convenient to restaurants, bistros, and shopping, and only two blocks from the Odeon Metro stop. Other than our trips to and from the airport we only used a cab twice, and that was by choice rather than necessity. It was only a few minutes to the island, and Montmarte was easily accessible. Using the Metro and trains, Versailles is about an hour from the apartment and Giverny not much more. Our hosts, brothers Benjamin and Maxime, were most accommodating. We’ve stayed in truly fine hotels where the concierge was not as concerned about our happiness and well-being as Benjamin. All in all – and if you travel you know this is rare – a truly wonderful experience with absolutely no complaints.

This property was everything we wanted and more! It was exactly as shown in the pictures and we were pleasantly surprised that it was actually bigger than we anticipated. It is very clean, a good location and the owner went out of his way to make us comfortable, including dropping off fresh bakery products for our last breakfast. We were traveling with our two teenagers and would highly recommend this property.

“A wonderful introduction to Paris at St Sulpice” – SAINT GERMAIN

My wife and I spent 5 nights at St Sulpice from June 9th to June 14th. The photos and descriptions of the apartment are excellent and truly reflect it. We were met outside the apartment at the agreed time by Maxime who was a most gracious host. He ensured our every need was met and was always accessible if needed for any advice, directions etc etc. There was a lovely bottle of wine and Maxim’s Chocolates as a welcome gift which was a very nice touch. On checkout Maxime was interested in any feedback we could give him about the apartment and location and any suggestions we may have had to improve the experience. The furniture and fittings are of a high standard and the Convertible Sofa very easy to use and very comfortable to sleep on. The kitchen is fully appointed and again the attention to detail was first class. The apartment was spotless and obviously the company takes pride in their presentation. It was very hot and humid in Paris whilst we were there and we tended to have the large windows open a lot and the fan on. The only disadvantage of this was at night as the street remained busy and was sometimes a little noisy. The plus of this however was the feel and sounds of the area were always there. Maxime advised us that the company was fitting Air Conditioning to their apartments from August so any remaining issues would be resolved. The St Germaine area (Paris Arrondissement 6) is in our opinion the pick of Paris. Our son who has spent quite a bit of time there fully agrees. There is excellent shopping everywhere you turn and abundant cafes, bars and restaurants. Access to major landmarks is easy either by taking some lovely walks or using the very handily located Metro. We mainly walked and this allowed us to soak up the feel and atmosphere of the area and of Paris generally. St Germaine appeared to be a very safe area to walk around even late at night. All in all our stay at St Sulpice was one of the highlights of our recent 9 week European Holiday. We have already recommended the apartment to friends and will also recommend the company to other friends who require a larger apartment next year.

We recently traveled to Paris with our son-in-law, daughter and two grandsons…ages 4 and 6. This flat fit all of our needs and exceeded what we expected. We were greeted upon arrival by Maxime who did everything to make our visit enjoyable. The welcoming treats were wonderful and the attention to detail was exceptional. Maxime even handle the printing of tickets for an attraction and delivered them promptly…he went above and beyond what was needed to make our stay memorable. The location was in a residential area, but close to markets, wonderful bakeries, and transportation. Don’t bother with taxis, the metro works just fine. A great find! Les and Mary Heselton

Only wonderful things to say about this apartment! It was in perfect condition and beautifully decorated yet extremely functional. Stayed with my husband and 3 daughters between the ages of 12 and 16! Location was perfect as well, near train stations which we used daily and a block away from fresh bread, cheese, fruit and general grocery store. The owners are most helpful, kind and informative about the area. You can’t go wrong staying in this flat or any property owned by Maxime. Will tell all my family and friends that this is the place to stay if traveling to Paris and look forward to returning some day myself. The description of apartment in website and photos described and showed apt. well but it is truly even better in person!

We all enjoyed our stay in Paris – JARDIN

Bon Jour, Maxime…We all enjoyed our stay in Paris.  The little boys were thrilled that they could see the Eiffel Tower from the corner and that they had some area in which to run and play.  You thought of every convenience for your guests and you were the perfect host.  You will certainly be recommended to our friends who plan a trip to Paris in the future.  It was easy to find our way around the city from that location and it was also very easy to get to any market that we needed.  Thank you for allowing us to stay and for the assistance you gave us.  Johnny and Jake would love to come back again and they both said that they wanted to stay in the same flat!  Good luck to you in your future business ventures…we are sure that you will achieve success in all that you do.  If you ever to get to the states, please let us know…we would love to see you again…if not here, maybe in Paris again!  Thank you so much.  Mary and Les Heselton

Let me preface this review by saying that I’m an American tourist, and staying in this apt. My now-fiancee and I stayed for 7 nights in this flat, and NEVER ran out of things to do. When we made our reservation, we weren’t expecting to spend a whole lot of time in the apartment and essentially just needed a place to lay our heads at night. What we found instead was an apartment which met EVERY one of our needs, and more. The neighborhood: This apartment is surrounded by nightlife. Lots of really neat cafes and bars (including one next-door which can get a bit loud — but don’t be alarmed, the windows completely muffle the sounds) are within steps, and we found that these cafes, bars, etc. tended to stay open later than those in other parts of the city. Since we often didn’t finish sightseeing until 10 or 11PM on average, this was an awesome convenience. The Jardin de Luxembourg is right down the street a few blocks, and makes for a relaxing afternoon of relaxing and people-watching. Less than 100m away is the Odeon Metro station for Line 4, which is the only Metro line to connect to EVERY other metro line. You can literally get anywhere in the city within minutes on the Metro (and a lot of cool spots by foot). The owners are happy to make recommendations for nearby cafes, restaurants, bars, markets, etc. The Apartment Owners/Accomodations: Aime a Paris was a dream to rent from. Maxime (who I dealt with from the States) and Benjamin (who helped us out once we arrived) couldn’t have been more helpful. They’re very open to feedback, would be happy to provide anything we asked for (which wasn’t much), and were even kind enough to drop a few postcards in the mail for us because we ran out of time. The apartment itself is in a typical Parisian building. Enter a heavy wooden door from the sidewalk by punching in a code, open another locked door to get to the stairwell/courtyard, open another locked door to get into the apartment. Couldn’t imagine feeling more secure. The apartment is well-appointed, with amazing exception to detail. Because it’s a studio, there’s a fold-out sofabed, which I was skeptical of at first, but don’t be scared: we discovered this to be among the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. The kitchen and bath are appointed with everything you could ever need, from corkscrews, pots and pans, to a towel warmer and washer/dryer. Free internet and phone were sweet amenities, too. Don’t hesitate: book now.

Consider here first before deciding to stay anywhere else – Beaugrenelle

Hello, if you are looking to stay comfortably in Paris outside of the conventional hotels and away from the bustling tourist areas while retaining first-class service, then THIS is the place for you.  I wanted to find a very nice place for my parents to stay as they visited me on their first trip to Europe, and I can assure you that they were highly impressed.  We had both the apartments at Saint Germain in the 6th district and Beaugrenelle in the 15th.  Both were immaculate, modernly decorated, and equipped with full kitchens and all the high-tech gadgets you could hope for.  There is no need to bring lots of clothes because both come equipped washers; the St. German place apartment also has a dryer.  Both places are ideally located, with Beaugrenelle on a major RER train and metro line and  St. Germain on a major metro that goes to three major Parisian train stations.  Both are within walking distance to some major attractions.  Even better that the accommodations and amenities was the hospitality shown to us by Maxime Mellul.  He was very friendly, punctual (more than we), and highly professional.  He checked in on us to make sure that everything was going smoothly, and when we had a problem with our St. Germain apartment, he stepped in to fix the problem immediately.  My parents are even talking about coming again next year, and they already know exactly where they want to stay.  So, if you’d like stay in the chic, erstwhile bohemian, and shopping-savvy 6th district or the quieter, more local-inhabited 15th with its open-air farmers’ markets and artisan flair, then do consider staying here before you consider anywhere else.  Thank you so very much, Maxime.  A la prochaine!

Flat “JARDIN”

As a frequent international business traveler who knows quality lodging when I experience it, this Apt. met all my expectations…what an outstanding place to stay!  The apt. is large, well laid out, in pristine condition and in a great location.  The owners were there to greet us upon our arrival and gave us a thorough orientation of the place, surroundings and offered suggestions on places of interest, restaurants, transportation…any questions we threw at these guys they were prepared for!  Thanks for a wonderful visit, I can’t wait to go back!

Two weeks ago, I, my sister and my co-worker came to Paris for a week. We had rented this apartment earlier this year for our visit and from the first minute we saw it, we knew we had made the right decision. The driver met us at the airport and took us to the apartment where Maxime personally met us and showed us around. This apartment was even more than we had hoped for – clean, spacious, great location and secured. In fact, we enjoyed the apartment so much that we had to push ourselves out the door every morning to sightsee. We were so comfortable that we could easily have stayed in the apartment the entire trip! There were cute shops in the area and a great neighborhood restaurant that we went to twice. We were also close to the metro line. I have since recommended this apartment to two other co-workers who have trips to Paris planned this summer. At the end of our visit, Maxime was there to make sure that our driver was on time to get us to the airport. All in all, our experience could not have been better and I will definitely keep this apartment in mind if I am lucky enough to return to Paris.

Mrs Pike – Jardin

This was a great place to stay. We were 5 minute walk to the Jevel Metro Station and a 20 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. The apt was new, clean, and so spacious. Great kitchen- fully stocked. The living room was huge and had 2 pull out sofa beds that my kids loved. As an American I am picky about bathrooms- and these were great. 2 full baths and both had a separate room for the toilet, so they could be used while someone showered. The bathrooms are small by US standards, but huge compaired to other Paris apartments.

The location was convenient to everything. Good local stores and restaurants just a few minutes walk away. We felt very safe walking at night with children and we were amazed how quiet it was.

The owner met us at our arrival, and was so friendly and helpful! The owner has thought of everything, but if you need anything he is happy to assist. A perfect Paris apartment.

We will be back!

Nina – Beaugrenelle

My boyfriend and I went for a romantic week-end in Paris and booked in for a deluxe-apartment in Beaugrenelle with Aime à Paris, and our stay ended up being everything we could have asked for, and more! The manager of Aime à Paris – Maxime – gave us a lot of personlized advice regarding eating out, shopping, sight-seeing etc., and also booked for us surprisingly punctual transfer services. The apartment we stayed in was fresh, clean and modern. And the spacious kitchen was like a dream! In comparison to other apartment hotels, Aime à Paris have put a lot of attention to the kitchenware. There was everything we’d need to host a smaller dinner party if we would have wanted to. Moreover, the bed rooms had really comfortable beds with soft linens, and the bath rooms heated floor. The area of Beaugrenelle was also fabulous. Just across the street there was a boulangerie, and a short walk away, we had a market street full of everything from cheeses to fish, meats and wine. The evenings were calm and we trust it was a really safe area to stay. I would recommend Beaugrenelle and Aime à Paris’ deluxe apartments to the fastidious traveller who’s looking for a genuine stay in the signs of a real Parisian. We will definitely come and visit again!
